Working with Doug while he was a GM at the Jamaica property was one of the most positive experiences that I have had to date with a General Manager. His ability to focus on achieving successful results in addition to balancing the employees and clients was very much admired. He did not allow the politics of the industry to alter the end result, achieving the bottom line, which is far and few between in people today. I would welcome the opportunity to work with Doug again.

Doug opened up the Ritz Carlton at Lake Las Vegas and was brilliant in getting things off the ground and building great relationships with all of his staff and all other groups at Lake Las Vegas. Doug worked closely with the developers of Lake Las Vegas and all other businesses involved with the project. I own a wedding chapel in Las Vegas and Doug was very influential in helping our company arrange to perform many weddings and receptions throught Lake Las Vegas and on their yachts. Doug's expertise and kindness in guiding our company through this growth company was of benefit to our company, Ritz Carlton and all others involved.

Doug is a focused, highly organized professional with a keen eye for detail and selecting executives to complement his talents. Doug and I worked together for almost 2 years in St Thomas US Virgin Island. The location was extremly difficult to deliver concistent luxury services to our customers but under Doug's leadership and organization we were able to achieve some of the highest guest satisfaction on the island. Doug created a team spirit throughout the hotel that was truly one of a kind and he was able to extract the maximum out of each individual.
