Renewable energy professional. Cornell MBA. San Francisco citizen.
Dhanur took my renewable energy course this Spring 2012; Dhanur was the only non-engineer in a class of 35 students, mostly seniors. Dhanur impressed me with his enthusiasm for the general area of renewable energy systems and in particular PV and energy storage systems and his command of the engineering principles. Dhanur earned one of the highest grades in the class.
Dhanur is a gifted biz-dev talent who I had the pleasure to work with in China. He is an amazingly quick learner who is sharp, goal oriented, has integrity and hits the ground running. He arrived to China from a different BU to take on the challenging role of heading China-India tradelane development, and quickly imperssed everyone with how fast he "got it," despite being a new comer in this field. He immediately demonstrated his analytical and thinking skills by creating a business plan and sales kit, which afterwards became the standard to be used by the rest of the team. From the very beginning he successfully managed to build good working relationships within all levels of the company as well as cross-border clients. He personally lead by example in selling complex service solutions with long-sales cycles in a highly competitive market, and achieved some fantastic results. An elated management awarded him the coveted "best tradelane manager" award after his first year in China! Dhanur is an ideas man, and is going places, if you're looking for an asset who will make a difference I highly recommend him.
Dhanur has very strong strategic, "bigger picture" thinking ability. He also demonstrated the ability to take complicated, complex challenges and break them into manageable, distinct components. Dhanur also demonstrated process-orientation, high energy and enthusiasm.
