I hear lots and lots of startups talk about Social and Pay Per Click (PPC). I hear very few talk about Average Revenue per user, Lifetime Customer Value, Cost Per Customer, etc.
Most talk about A/B testing in terms of 1 vs 2. Most of my experience with A/B testing was sending out ~100 variations, measuring and then executing on the highest ROI campaigns.
Would love to talk with Business Leaders and Founders about customer acquisition via other channels like Meetups, Conferences, Trade Shows, Newspapers, Direct Mail, etc.
My marketing experience varies across several industries from finance, manufacturing and advertising. Focus has been product launches, support and acquisition across multiple channels.
- U.S. Bank - Managed a $22M budget for financial products including check and credit cards targeting both business and consumers. Some of the most interesting brands we worked with were Harley-Davidson and Gymboree.
- Marvin Windows and Doors - Implemented various programs based on target audiences: architects/AIA trade shows, custom builders, restoration, remodeling and window/door replacement. Programs varied from event/tradeshow marketing, radio, direct mail, web site update/target and dealer marketing support. Maintained product manual and assisted with product launches.
- Star Tribune (Newspaper) - Created marketing plans for small businesses (resellers), non profits and religious groups with various goals.
