As a non-technical founder and business owner I understand that the software/application development process feels opaque and murky to entrepreneurs with a great idea, strong business skills, but no coding chops. This is who I am, and it is only by virtue of being involved in dozens of projects - small and large, failures and successes - that I've come to understand where things can go terribly wrong and what the right moves are to reduce a project's overall level of risk.
I've raised over $2.5M for the two companies I've founded, including a $2.2M Series Seed round for my current venture in 2017. I can speak firsthand about the Due Diligence process, and what it's like to raise money from VC's and how that experience differs from raising $$ from angels, angel groups, and family offices.
