I had the pleasure of working with Chris Woodard during his time as the CMO with Noom, Inc. Chris is a very goal-driven, hard worker. He has the necessary communication skills to manage and motivate a team while also being able to execute his tasks with seasoned experience. Importantly, Chris was able to structure and implement the essential marketing tasks in the tough startup environment, which doesn't often prioritize the marketing facet of the company. Additionally, Chris is an honest and reliable colleague. His strengths lay in his abilities to not only execute but to also champion our loyal users, thus building Noom's brand power and also managing our emerging and quickly growing user community. As a colleague, I valued his collaborative approach where he always brought great ideas to the table, but was open to other ideas in return. As a manager, I was struck by his dedication to the team. Chris is a hard-working, selfless leader who always puts his team first. Even as his group grew from a handful of people into a small army of 25+ employees, Chris's managerial skills never faltered. No matter how much he had on his plate, Chris always made time for anyone who needed his help or advice. His dedication was evident as he was always ready and willing to help out if his staff was short-handed or faced with a tight turnaround. If my work ever spilled over into the weekend, he was always there to remind me, "I'll gladly help out with email production if you need me." And I have no doubt that he extended the same offers to the customer service, editorial and production teams that he also managed.

Chris was truly someone who I looked up to and viewed as a mentor at BuyWithMe. I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge working under Chris - he taught me just about everything I know about email marketing, and turned me into a more analytical thinker. I'm grateful for my time working with Chris, and I'd jump at the chance to do it again.
