Alan has been building internet connected robots since 2002. Over that time he's become an active advocate of the open source Robotics Operating System(ROS). Currently he leads a startup, ROSHub Inc, focused on bringing cloud based devops tools to the ROS eco-system. When he's not building startups he enjoys making interactive art installations and helping new comers learning robotics.
