Facebook page promotion-- does it suck or do we suck?

Oh, my dear friend, so many new businesses experience the same thing, so hang in there. Here is my advice, but first, we need more context:
What type of business are you?
What kind of creative and copy are you using?
Are you boosting posts, inviting friends and family, or running full ad campaigns?
The answers to these questions are important because the strategy that works for one business may not work for another. Let me walk you through what works best across the board to get more results and turn those wasted dollars into smart investments. Here’s what you need to know:
1. Stop Boosting Posts
Boosting posts is like tossing money into the wind. Use Facebook Ads Manager instead—it lets you target the right people, test what works, and track real results.
2. Your Images and Videos Matter Most
The visual is what stops people from scrolling. Use:
Bright colors or bold text.
Faces that show emotion.
Short videos (under 15 seconds) to grab attention fast.
3. Your Words Need to Speak to Them
Start by calling out your audience: “Are you struggling to find clients?”
Talk about their problem: “Wasting money on ads that don’t work?”
End with a clear action: “Click to learn how to fix it!”
4. Test and Adjust
Start small—spend $5-$10 a day and test different images and words. After a few days, see what’s working and focus on that.
