My name's Wang Yip and I'm a Distinguished Toastmaster with over 10+ years of experience writing, evaluating and judging speeches. I'm also a former management consultant where I have spoken and presented hundreds of presentations to senior executives. I'm also the author of five self-published books on public speaking based on my Toastmaster experience and I teach two courses on Udemy also on public speaking.

As a management consultant for 7+ years, I use my expertise in digital media and graphic design to develop innovative presentations that leave clients with memorable messages and actionable takeaways. My mentor shared a story with me early on that influenced my passion for design. He had a meeting with a client with an analyst and the client did not like the PowerPoint presentation that was presented at the meeting. The client suggested a number of changes and my mentor and the analyst went away with a lot of notes. Just as the analyst was about to make the changes, my mentor told the analyst to change how the PowerPoint presentation looked (the design) and to not change any of the words (the content). The analyst made it look significantly better and when it was presented to the client, the client had a change of heart and loved the deliverable. The content did not change at all.
