Following 15 years in mobile & entertainment (raised, exited), I started focusing on the trillion-dollar market education where I am a Venture Partner in Emerge Education, an education-tech accelerator. I am investing, helping start-ups raise and generally advise.
I have been founding, growing and operating companies in the mobile gaming space since 2003 or so. I have worked in C-level positions on everty aspect of the value chain: indie developer, publisher, middleware platform and OEM.

Volker and I worked in the same corporate law team. He was a good team player and was used to work hard, even at night. At this early phase of his career, he already managed deals of a considerable size more or less on his own.
I met Volker in Malta in 2004 as I was visiting there and what a great networker he is! As we were each well connected in our respective countries, we decided to share a cup of coffee and just see what happened.
