I have organized over 25 online webinars during the last 2 years about topics related with online marketing and product management. Unfortunately, there is no silver bullet to get viral power. It would be helpful if you provide more context so my answer could be more accurate to your particular case. If you are organizing your first online webinar your challenge should be how to get 1 viewer that cares about what you do. Then we can keep talking about next steps.
Most of the programming bootcamps are primarily designed to create junior developers, not startup founders. That said, if you take a programming bootcamp, it will probably help you to deal with technical challenges.
The reality is that building a company is way more than knowing how to code, and you'll have to invest time to face other non-technical challenges.
If you are interested in having a more strategic vision on the product of your company, I would encourage you to consider the option of learning Product Management as well. I am the CEO of Product School, a 6-week part-time Product Management course in San Francisco: http://www.product-school.com/course
Second great call with Carlos. Very useful as the first one. Very practical also as he suggested five action plans making sense with the goal of accomplishing the first two by the end of next week. Great!
Very productive and efficient call with Carlos. Very action-driven which makes perfect sense in my case. Follow up call planned.
Carlos is not a boss, Carlos much more than that, he is a Leader.
I´ve had the honor to see how Carlos and his team have raised one of the best well known ed-tech Start Ups of the World, and even better, to be working for him.
I only have great words of how Carlos have always treated me, sending me constant feedback to improve. And as leader, I have learned so much with him!!
I´d always be open to work with and for him!
Seguimos trabajando juntos.
Carlos is one of those rare people who are always brimming with energy and great ideas of making the product the best there is.
He is extremly positive and never gives up at what he is doing!
Never failing to overperform while also silently preparing the next big thing that will blow your mind away.
Working with him has been an experience I will for sure never forget.
From my developer point of view (a simple one) Carlos is not just the product manager a company needs, he's the "person" a company needs. I'm talking of the kind of person that prints his own ADN not only into the product but also into the company itself. He transmits all his enthusiasm and energy to every corner of the team. He's always pushing me to become my own "better version" because that's what he sees everyday on me, and because of that, I'm very thankful!
I thoroughly enjoyed working Carlos this past year. He was a blessing to have on the Marketing Team at Involver. Carlos' vast knowledge of the social space was instrumental in helping us to produce key content pieces. He also created an amazing demo piece that our Sales Team still uses today. Added Bonus - Carlos has a kick-butt positive attitude!
Carlos came to Involver with incredible enthusiasm and ambition and went beyond the call of duty throughout his time on my team. We were excited to have a contributor who was not only passionate about social marketing but who also had the technical skills to understand all the details of implementing campaigns. Carlos sits squarely in the next generation of social marketers and will have a huge impact in the space.
While at Involver he worked on a broad range of projects from competitive analysis, to market research, planning, project management, blogging and more. Among his most valuable projects was the development of a fictitious brand on Facebook that could be used as a demonstration property by our sales team. The work he did continues to deliver value and I'd recommend Carlos as a great addition to any social marketing team.
Carlos' vision is clear and simple yet very powerful and inspiring. As the co-founder of NetDay, he has made "changemakers" out of me and others. He is someone to watch out for, with his business smarts, dedication and passion he will definitely be a success in whatever he chooses to pursue next!
Very bright, very analytical, reflective yet a real presence, results-oriented, pushes himself to accomplish greater goals, works well with others and leads in a quiet way, curious about everything and multi-talented in several disciplines -- great prospects for the future.
