Hey There,
I've been doing digital marketing for over 15 years, and quite a few of those years, I worked in content marketing. This is a good industry to be in right now.
I would suggest you not think about "viral", and consider "helpful". When you create valuable, helpful content, Google will rank you and you will benefit of the long-tail in terms of SEO organic traffic. It will take a bit longer, but it will give you a much stronger return on your investment.
Here is my general approach:
1) Consider the target audience's needs. What drives them? What problem are they trying to solve that you might be able to assist with?
2) With the above list of needs, go on Google and start typing in your search (but slow down...). As you type in your phrase, you will notice Google will suggest search phrases. Watch for phrases that might be relevant -- these are popular searches around what you were typing.
3) Write blog post or content that is helpful around those topics/needs.
4) Use the above content to help drive customer engagement and actual sales. One approach might be to give away something of value in exchange for a name and email. It could be an eBook, or a "how to" guide, etc.
5) You can then use the emails to further drive deeper engagement with those qualified interested leads into your bootcamp seminars.
Of course, you can then use all the tools at your disposal to drive increased SEO value through links (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc).
Just some thoughts to consider. Feel free to schedule a call with me if you'd like my help in helping you develop a digital marketing strategy for your product.
I have organized over 25 online webinars during the last 2 years about topics related with online marketing and product management. Unfortunately, there is no silver bullet to get viral power. It would be helpful if you provide more context so my answer could be more accurate to your particular case. If you are organizing your first online webinar your challenge should be how to get 1 viewer that cares about what you do. Then we can keep talking about next steps.
