Having been involved with many venture capital transactions (over 100 startups raising hundreds of millions of dollars) on multiple sides of the table (as an attorney, entrepreneur, VC, angel investor, or advisor), I have developed a sense for how to raise money effectively and impactfully.

Mass Consumer Internet / Mobile Startups

As a Founder of jaxtr, I learned how to create and scale a mass consumer social mobile startup that grew to over 10 million registered users. As the business strategist at Webs.com, I led the successful market repositioning of a platform that had more than 40 million registered users and millions of monthly active users.

Business Development

As the head of business development at Webs, I sourced, evaluated, negotiated and executed major strategic distribution strategies which were instrumental in the eventual successful exit of the company.

Corporate Development / M&A Strategy

I lead M&A for several strategic business units at GoDaddy and have successfully led 7 acquisitions in the past 4 years valued at over $300M in aggregate. Previously, I have been on the sell side and buy side of many M&A transactions of all sizes as an attorney, VC as well as startup founder and executive. At Webs, I bought 2 companies and led the sale of Webs to Vistaprint in 2009 for $118M without using an outside banker.
