Award-winning web designer, lecturer and technologist with over 15 years' experience building online and off-line projects for some of the most recognisable brands in the world, from complex WordPress based publishing platforms to custom mobile apps; from motion graphics to corporate identity. Design work featured in more than a dozen books, including the “Web Design Index”, “The Web Design Idea Book”, “Sexy Web Design”, “Designing with Type”, and “Net Work: Ethics and Values in Web Design”.
Miguel was a Lecturer at University College London, a Visiting Professor at the UPV in Spain, and has taught seminars and master classes on design and web technologies at other nine universities in Europe and the US. A guest speaker at design conferences, (The Future of Web Design, Internet Global Conference, Intermedia, etc), he has also directed two international symposia, and designed and curated exhibitions in Europe and the Middle East.
