I have Masters in Civil Engineering (from Ukraine) and Anthropology (Nepal). I have extensive field experience in civil engineering (water, sanitation, environment, and municipal infrastructures), and project management. I have already accomplished over 50 projects throughout my 30 years of career in development and humanitarian contexts.
I conduct designs and deliver technical audit services of infrastructure projects, and provide training activities for local governments' engineers. I have experience in Third-Party Monitoring of infrastructure projects.
In the course of professional life, I have enriched my skills, knowledge and experience in Public Health Engineering, Infrastructure Project Management, Climate Adaptation/Resilience, Technical Project Governance and Institutional Strengthening, QA/QC, and Social / Environmental Safeguards.
I have been engaged with the Government, NGOs and private sector agencies, and consulting firms for national and international projects in the environment & climate change sectors. I have also gained practical insights in anthropological and socio-economic themes.
Over the period of last 7 years, I have transformed my professionalism from conventional approach towards integrating evidence-based planning and assessments into wider city development frameworks of sustainable environmental management and Build Back Better. I also advocate for smart-city planning and provide technical backstopping for implementation in resource-constraint settings.
