Throughout my career, I have led user groups, hobby groups, industry mixers and conferences, and online brand communities. These range in size from a couple dozen, to a weekend conference of hundreds, and a global online community with over one million registered members for a top global brand.
At LEGO, I worked with innovation teams and the global community of adult superfans to scale LEGO IDEAS. We took in fans’ proposals for new LEGO products, and turned top vote-getters into some of the most beloved LEGO sets sold around the world. Products include LEGO Minecraft, LEGO Doctor Who, NASA Apollo Saturn V, Voltron Defender of the Universe, and LEGO Women of NASA, which together have added tens of millions in bottom line revenue to the company.
