This is the way I think, and this is my innovation model and strategy. Through innovative work (product, process, marketing, distribution, and business model innovation), I help companies increase their revenue, in contrast with other people’s strategies, which only promote and practice six sigma, improve product quality, or design supply chains for increasing revenue. I think beyond the conventional methods and encourage you to use innovation to grow your business and revenue!
Hello, I'm
S C PILLAI
a.k.a. 'sureshbabu' and 'suresh pillai'
I am an inventor who is skilled at rapidly developing products suitable for the marketplace. Adept at multitasking, I am a great mediator, leader, and administrator and a fluent communicator.
WHAT DO I INNOVATE?
Incremental and/or radical (DEFENSIVE/DISRUPTIVE/OPEN/SWARM), feature rich, cost-effective, schedule driven, multi-disciplinary, and quality-enhancing innovations. If it makes a positive impact, I do it!
INCREMENTAL INNOVATIONS
This innovation strategy revolves around small improvements and/or upgrades made to a company's existing products, processes, services and business models.
RADICAL INNOVATIONS
This innovation is all about unprecedented improvements and/or new breakthrough/disruptive/game-changing products, processes, services, and business models.
HOW DO I INNOVATE?
I innovate using my knowledge, tools, skills and common sense via ‘ SIMPs, ‘ which stands for Sureshbabu Innovation Management Processes).
'SIMPs'(SURESHBABU INNOVATION MANAGEMENT PROCESSES)
START
(from vision through idea to proposal)
The decision-making team, composed of INNOVATION MANAGEMENT ARCHITECTS and I, participate in writing an INNOVATION PROPOSAL after we thoroughly understand the project and then start the project with stakeholder's approval.
COMPREHEND
(from proposal through funding to resource allocation)
With the proposal in hand, the INNOVATION MANAGEMENT COORDINATORS and I choose and prioritize various elements keeping stakeholder requirements in mind. A project scheme is mapped by developing and finding funding sources, and powerful PM software tools are employed to plan, organize, and manage resource allocation. A temporary client portal will be hosted for stakeholders in order to display the progress of the project in real-time live.
EXECUTE
(from resource allocation through technical brainstorming to prototype)
INNOVATION ENGINEERS and numerous interdisciplinary floating teams composed of interns and apprentices are given tasks. Through technical brainstorming and maintaining a reasonable scope of the project and stakeholder requirements, a prototype will be made.
REVIEW
(from prototype through iterations to functional prototype)
This is a task for the INNOVATION MANAGEMENT STRATEGISTS, who examine the progress and innovation stages of the real plan and make necessary adjustments to create a working or functional prototype.
END
(from functional prototype through stakeholder buy-in to handover)
Once the innovation is complete, I again recall stakeholder's requirements and if necessary conduct evaluations before handing over the project. With stakeholder buy-in, I determine the project’s impact and further opportunities.
