Since 2009, I have been building and optimizing digital properties for better monetization and user experience. In different roles across News, eCommerce and Classifieds, I have achieved product and business goals, ensured process compliance and engaged with the key stakeholders.
At present, I am leading the Product team at The Indian Express (Digital) and responsible for success of the group websites and apps. Monetization through Subscription and Ad revenue while delivering value to the users is my key focus area.
I like to work through collaboration and consensus by bringing people together. To me, the outcome is much more important than the output. The latest developments on AI, data privacy and digital sustainability interest me.
Over the years, I have provided career guidance to aspiring and junior to mid-level Product Managers within and outside the organization. I am a mentor at Nasscom Women Product Champions program. I also speak on various aspects of Product Management at events, podcasts and interviews.
I have done FPM (PhD equivalent) from IMI Delhi on Sustainability Reporting. As a researcher, I have published research papers and case studies in internationally recognized journals.
To bridge the gap between academics and industry, I have conducted guest lectures on Digital Subscription, Product Management and Sustainability Marketing at various B-schools in India.
