My philosophy on digital marketing and marketing in general has always been driven by the few key strategies – 1. As Wayne Gretzy once said, go where the puck is going and not where’s it’s been. Be willing to place your bets. Focus on the few things you can do really well and leave room for innovation. 2. Think big and work your way backwards to reality. It’s important to have a strategic long term vision to work towards. If you start small, it’s harder to realize the possibilities. 3. It’s about the connection to the consumer first and foremost. Digital is about the connection into people’s everyday lives. Content and experiences are at the root of building that bridge.
