Randy, for 20 years, has advocated the importance of empathy in product design. With ambition and the desire to help others succeed. Randy founded his first business in 2013, receiving venture capital and notoriety for his vision in the local merchant space. As an aspiring thought leader and aspiring angel investor. Randy has spoken on UX/UI and entrepreneurship as a panelist at Research Park - University of Illinois Urbana Champaign Mobile Development Day, Tribeca Flashpoint, and Technori. In his new venture, 5ivehat Digital UX Agency. Randy has refocused his product design and UX/UI strategies to help his clients become successful leaders in their respective industries. For his hard work in the design community, he received a contributing author credit for the upcoming book titled Lift-Off! Practical Design Leadership to Elevate Your Team, Your Organization, and You through Rosenfeld Media. He is currently a lead instructor of user experience design at General Assembly and a Board Member for the AIGA Chicago Chapter.
