Question
I used to hold a prominent position at a prominent company, and so there are thousands of sites mentioning me and linking to my previous company. Seems like it would be smart to run an outreach campaign to those sites, asking them to update their links so people can find me.
I can use a tool like BuzzStream to do the outreach, but I'm not sure how to collect a list of all the pages. Going manually through the search results would be almost impossible, because the order of the sites is always changing beyond the first few pages of results.
I need a tool to scrape the results, remove any site linking to my current website, and add the rest of the pages into a database or Excel file that I can import into BuzzStream. Anybody know of such a thing?
Answer
There are many tools that can track brand/keyword mentionings. My most favorites so far are moz.com and http://rankur.com/
For social media mentions you can also use:
http://sproutsocial.com/
I hope this helps.
