Which crowdfunding site should I use for a creative project?

I am publishing a children’s book that explains incarceration to the 4-6 million children with a father in prison. I would like to use a crowdfunding platform to generate some pre-sales and some cash flow to assist with the support I need to launch the book. Which Crowdfunding site would be the best fit? Kickstarter? IndieGoGo? Another? Do they have comparable fees?
