What are the best practices in finding creative marketing interns to work for our company?
The answer to this question depends on (1) the city you live in; (2) the duration and start date; (3) the scope of the activity specifically; (4) what will you offer them in return for their labor besides an Internship itself (does not have to be money).
I usually look for students on groups on Facebook and in Linkedin groups.
Try this for example: 2016 NYU Exchange Business Students
And for an advertisement, you will have to come up with something creative. I once secured 5 interns with no pay using an advertisement like this one (but was targeting foreign exchange students in Seoul):
Are you tired of being treated like your only value is editing English documents, or making pointless presentation files for no real-world reason whatsoever?
Are you tired of some insecure middle management interviewer wasting your time on stupid things like how many years experience you have or what school you went to?
Claro Automata, LLC, is seeking a summer intern for two projects.
1. Machine learning (Ex: #AlphaGo) application research;
2. Working with 4 MIT Scientists remotely on machine learning related advisory and packaging it in deliverables.
