MenuAre fitness gyms still necessary in today's world? What is an ideal price to pay per month membership? What makes one gym differ from the others?
This question has no further details.

I recently started my own fitness based company, tailored to athletes, and I've been an athlete in organized sport for 14 years.
It really depends on what you're looking to work on. For example, if you want to gain mass, you're going to need access to weights. If you're strictly looking to do cardio, you could easily bypass the gym and go for a run 3-4 times a week. There are so many gyms out there now that you could easily get a gym membership for as low as $10 a month, but on average I'd say you'll be paying around $30 a month. Then again, there are gyms that offer a lot of amenities, that can charge as much as $200 a month. Again, this all depends on your needs, budget, and comfort level of working out in front of strangers.
I'd love to hop on a call if you'd like, and talk more about this, or answer any other questions you have about the topic. Good luck! :)
These days fitness center can be very specific to a clientele. Their prices vary because of what they offer. A typical box gym that offers classes and has equipment can range from 19.95-90.00. The type of member will be different with the increase in price and also the amenities. Fitness centers are a great way to meet people that you will have something in common with. There are also cross fit gyms that are very community bases and are challenging physically. New clubs such as Orange theory add a class environment that most people enjoy. These type of clubs add the accountability factor that most people need to stay on track. You can also look into personal trainer that offer group programs. I suggestion is to seek out a few different styles of clubs and ask for a free trial. This way you can see what you like and you may even want to combine different clubs that fit your schedule. Good luck and enjoy healthy living.
As someone that works out 4-5 times a week, yes, they are necessary. The reason I prefer a gym is simply because I don't have the room in my home for all the equipment I prefer to use, and all the different pieces are expensive. I don't use any services or other classes, so I look for gyms in the range of $20-$30/month. Cleanliness and quality of equipment are huge regarding differentiation. Another factor is the gym etiquette of other patrons. I prefer 24hr gyms because I can always get a workout in despite my changing schedule. Hope that helps.

Is there a template or guide to ensure we cover all areas of the health business from appropriate permits and employee benefits?
No there is not such Guide, because it will be a 300 page manual. Your best bet is to pay a consultant who specialize in that area of business or at the very least find someone doing what you're doing and pay them to build you one.CA

Our target customer is hospital systems for our remote monitoring software, with many interested in pipeline, how do we close short term paid pilots?
You need to fully understand marketing to hospitals, the FDA, and how clinical trial management works. I would highly recommend finding a local friend/advisor/investor/etc. who is a doctor involved in clinical trials or better yet a clinical trial manager. There are a lot of hoops to get a clinical trial underway and you want to make this as easy as possible and put on paper and give to prospects up front how you have already cleared all the paths and made this a low risk trial. Of particular concern will be your strategies around HIPAA compliance and how your store patient identified and de-identified data. How does what you are doing compare to software systems that are already FDA approved? Do you interface with all the main electronic heard record and other systems? I have some friends in the clinical informatics space. These are the types of people you need on your advisory board. Feel free to call or contact me.JB

Can herpes and hepatitis b be cured?
Depends on who you ask. If you read all the banned data about Vitamin C (back to the early 1900s), along with MMS (no MMS isn't bleach) you'll find a variety of ways to clear these pathologies (symptom sets). Tip: No one can use the word "cured" because the AMA (Medical Cartel Gestapo) owns this word. If you or anyone else uses the word "cure" related to any modality, you can end up broke, incarcerated, or both. Better to replace "cure" with "clear/reverse symptoms" or anything different than the word "cure" or "cured".DF

How do you ensure you can access health insurance when you leave your job to begin your startup?
If you're in Canada, there are two options: - Some insurance companies will offer employee benefits coverage to companies with as few as 2 employees. - You can join an association plan (there are many out there), where you're part of a larger pool of many small companies and the claims & premiums are spread across the entire pool.CG
