MenuIs there an existing solution to manage incoming text messages from multiple sales people to one number/system?
Answers
I've spent a lot of time in the telephony, call center, crm space and built a lot of applications that involve incoming phone calls and sms. I don't know of a product that works exactly as you specified but I have constructed things that did part of that for conferences and audience feedback.
You should take a look at some of the Quick Start guides on Twilio.com for example SMS applications that are very easy to construct. You might be able to create what you need by combining a couple of them together. I have years of experience with the Twilio platform so if you have any questions about it I'd be happy to do a call with you and help you out.
Hi there - depending upon your needs your should check out Zipwhip (takes inbound SMS on behalf of existing land line or Toll Free number); or a service like FrontApp (SMS is one supported channel). Alternately, build your own solution with Twilio.
Thank you everyone. I discovered eztexting.com. They do all I need out if the box. Thanks again for the input!

What are the best ways to increase Twitter followers?
I've heard people buying Twitter accounts with large followings and then migrating their username over. That's one way - although I don't get that at all. Other people have done it with Follower farms .. were they join a follower farm site, and essentially everyone just agrees to follow each other. Both of these are in violation of the terms of service and may get your account suspended/banned. The best way to grow your audience is to share things worth sharing. Either quotes, pictures, interesting / funny insights, etc. I'd rather have 1000 true fans than 200,000 bot followers.DM

How can I reach out to Twitter users who have an immediate need for my services? I can see local tweets from great prospects but a reply would be SPAM
Twitter is actually a great prospecting tool, and these are people you should absolutely be engaging with as a brand. The key is to engage without coming off as spammy. Instead of "Buy our product now to solve your issue", try something friendly like, "Hey XYZ! We'd love to help you [solve problem]. Let us know how we can help!" or "We'd be happy to put you in touch with one of our experts on this topic. Let us know if you'd be interested in chatting." In other words, as long as you're focused on providing value over pitching your products, your responses won't come off as spammy, and you'll not only be able to get more qualified prospects from Twitter, but you'll also grow a stronger and more lovable brand presence.SB

What are best practices to get verified on twitter?
Did you get denied? Or have you not been approved *yet*? I'm not sure how Twitter is working through the application process, but from what I can tell it is roughly in order based on follower account with a big focus on who they are and how much their name or personal brand are attached to why people follow them.JM
