I am trying to produce a print magazine. Who can I use for orders and fulfillment? I'm in the U.S. and don't even know where to start looking.

How do I get funded startups to buy Content Creation services?
I've been working with funded startups for a couple years as a content marketing consultant and my business has grown significantly year over year. Relationships are the king of generating new business in this space. It's important to become a key part of the startup community in your area and attend events whenever possible. Meet people, grab coffees, provide value through follow up emails and speak on the value of content creation as often as conference managers and planners will allow. The second approach that truly has helped me grow my business is the creation of content that helps startups do these things on their own. For example, I've written a Content Marketing Guide for Entrepreneurs (Standoutguide.com) along with a series of blog posts & Slideshows highlighting how content marketing works for startups. Last year, I wrote a blog post specifically about B2B Startups and how content marketing can help them and then emailed it to a handful of marketing executives at a couple startups. I ended up getting meetings with each of them and working with 4/5 of them. Finally, you need to develop a trustworthy brand. I couldn't count on my fingers how many times I've heard of marketers lose opportunities because they didn't manage their own accounts appropriately. Whether it's the language they use on their website or the way they carry themselves on social media - It's the little details that differentiate the best from the rest. If you have any other questions - Feel free to give me a ring! Always happy to help fellow entrepreneurs achieve success.RS

What's the most cost-effective way to create email marketing content for a technical professional services firm's customers and prospects?
One option is to create drip campaigns that can run automatically after creation. That way you've got content being fed to your audience on a schedule (X days from sign-up), and your overhead is much lower in terms of generating new content. When you have something meaningful to say, you can send it out to the list ad hoc, but you're not on the hook to regularly generate new broadcasts. I have a lot of experience setting up email marketing automation, as well as a strong technical background (I recently sold my marketing agency to take a full-time contract building custom web and native apps). On top of that, I'm also an experienced technical and non-technical writer (3 books and hundreds of articles under my belt). If you're interested, I'd be happy to discuss some of your options for creating newsletter content that will continue working for you, rather than spending lots of time each week for single-purpose content. Drop me a line and we'll chat. Good luck!JL

Where can I hire actors/presenters to produce educational videos? (We will provide a script).
I have created numerous educational videos, sales videos and hosted hundreds of webinars. I would recommend checking out the National Speakers Association, of which I am a member, at NSASpeaker.org. If you are on a shoestring budget, you could try fiverr.com - but approach cautiously as it is mostly amateur talent. If you would like to discuss this further, or get some personal referrals, give me a call. I offer a free, 30 minute call to first time clients. Is it a big no-no to approach 2 different journalists from the same publication to cover my startup story?
I don't have a lot of experience directly with journalists, but in my experience not really. If one of them was interested but couldn't do it in the first place they would send the piece around the office to see if anyone else wanted it. At least that's how it's worked with talent agents and entertainers, and they're very similar process'TM
