Orsi, has been affiliated with the UTS Business society for the past year and has been instrumental in advocating for women entrepreneurship and cultural diversity in business amongst university students in our society. In July of this year, she held a speaker event for aspiring entrepreneurs from UTS and UNSW. The UTS Business Society had received excellent feedback from the attendees of the event who had all gained invaluable insight into running start up businesses. Orsi’s presentation focused on practical aspects of entrepreneurship that are rarely taught in the course of business degrees and engaged the audience by addressing their specific concerns. With the majority of our attendees being international students, Orsi gave invaluable advice on networking, overcoming language and cultural barriers and realising the potential for business, profit and social change. We look forward to working with Orsi in the future as she is a truly passionate advocate for women empowerment, cultural diversity and social change.

Respecting everyone equally is an important issue today - affecting not only women in business but every aspect of life on earth. Without confrontation, nothing is going to change. As the founder and general manager of Australian Youth Against Cancer (AYAC), I have had the privilege to work directly with Orsolya Parkanyi as part of the 180 Degrees Management Consulting project for AYAC in early 2011.
