Working With Adobe FrameMaker

I've been helping groups set up, manage, and output content using Adobe FrameMaker for over 15 years. My FrameMaker book (Publishing Fundamentals: Unstructured FrameMaker) is pretty much the only FrameMaker reference book written in the last few years.

I work with the FrameMaker dev team to improve the product, especially as it relates to the interface and electronic publishing (Help, EPUB, HTML5) features.

I Will Help You Embed Video and Interactive Media in Your Docs

I run online classes (for the Society for Technical Commucation) as well as present webinars (for Adobe Systems) to show people how to get more interactive material in their docs, and how to deliver that content to the needed devices.

Matt is incredibly fluent in all things Adobe. I hired Matt to train my team on FrameMaker and RoboHelp. We loved him! Matt is a fabulous public speaker. His presentations are informative, educational, fun and interactive. Last night's presentation at the OCSTC was no exception!

One highlight for me was learning why my software programs always ask me if I want to "edit the original" AND finding out I had been giving the wrong answer for years. Now that I know better, I am sure my images will improve. I also learned where an elusive Photoshop command is that I had sought for years and saw some tricks in Captivate and InDesign that I can't wait to try.

If the topic (aka article, presentation, training class, etc.) has to do with graphics in any way...Matt should certainly be the first one you call!

We hired Matt through roundpeg to help us develop FrameMaker templates and the experience has been wonderful. He really listened to our objectives and made thoughtful suggestions that improved our documentation process. Matt and I worked together for a client that was one of the most demanding either of us had ever encountered. Many times we were asked to do the improbably difficult tasks that others found impossible. Long days, late hours, hectic schedules seemed to be the normal way to work.
