Luis X. Barrios is a 32 year-old passionate entrepreneur with a genuine interest in providing value back to his community. As Founder and CEO of The Pool - Center for Entrepreneurship, Luis shows his interest in advising and supporting entrepreneurial teams exploit their talents, push them to the next level and increase their entrepreneurial success ratio through training workshops , mentoring , networking and funding. Luis has extensive entrepreneurial training and startup development:
• MBA graduate from Babson College, recognized as one of the best programs in entrepreneurship worldwide
• Angel investor in over 7 startups of which 5 are still in operation and the rest in the incubation/acceleration processes.
His experience allows him to lead acceleration programs for entrepreneurs and provide training workshops on topics such as Customer Development , Validation Ideas, Market Launch, Entrepreneurial Training, Metrics That Matter, Lean Startup & Canvas, Electronic Commerce Strategies , among others. In addition, training and collaborating with different companies throughout his career allows him to have a wide network of experts, investors and entrepreneurs at a national and international level.
