Luis X. Barrios is a 32 year-old passionate entrepreneur with a genuine interest in providing value back to his community. I met Luis Barrios at a career event at Babson College (where I graduated from) when he was an MBA candidate. Luis is an intelligent, energetic and eminently likable person with a strong value system and solid ethical foundation. Luis has a deep passion for finding market-based solutions to the ecological challenges we face as a species and the opportunities that presents in his home country of Mexico. Luis spent a summer working with me to develop a market in Mexico for a technology platform that optimizes energy use in large facilities. I expect this work to pay big dividends as we plan to penetrate the market. Luis could apply his talents to a wide-range of opportunities and I find it admirable that he chooses the difficult route of an entrepreneur in an emerging market.
