CO-FOUNDER and Advisor at ConversionIQ. I lead the optimization teams at ConversionIQ to increase the conversion rates on 26 eCommerce websites.
Yes. While Experiments reporting is session based, a user is kept into the test, seeing the same variation the whole time, so when they convert, they will be attributed to the test variation they have been seeing. This is limited to the same browser on the same device, so if the user changes devices (20% of the time for average eCommerce sites by my estimation) or clears cookies (1%) or changes browsers on the the same device (?), than Experiments (and nothing else legal) can track them.
Hope this helps.
PS(I suggest you look at other tools, as Experiments is the last tool I would recommend right now).
I heartily recommend Mr. Keith Hagen based upon his technical capabilities, his perseverance and his ability to work effectively to accomplish the task at hand.
I have seen Keith go the proverbial extra mile to transition from a traditional technical application development role and become an outstanding eBusiness Specialist, and in working with business savvy personnel to promote the Gates brand and take their Internet eCommerce presence into the 21st century.
I worked with Keith for many years as he developed the company web site. Keith's superior technical background, project management skills and marketing knowledge is a plus to any business.
Super, A-Plus guy - will get the job done!
I worked with Keith for several years as he was crafting and building Gates' B2B magazine award-winning web site. Keith combines an excellent technical background with solid project management skills and marketing insight to get the job done. Keith has a unique ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities and still make you feel like you're his only client. We were very successful working together at Gates to build measurable e-marketing campaigns and platforms, may of which are still in use today.
I worked closely with Keith in the eBusiness group at Gates. I was continually impressed with his initiative on bringing new ideas together to better the group and service to the company. He has excellent communications skills and consistently showed the value of eBusiness to all levels of management within the company. He is self directed and driven, and his knowledge and drive to continually improve the business proved to be a very valuable, highly recognized acumen.
Keith is an extremely knowledgeable Internet Strategist. He know exactly what he wants and leads well to make sure the best solution is put forth. A strong communicator with vendors, he always provided the requirements we needed to a tee, saving his company countless billing hours that we would have charged to figure it out.
We always found Keith to be a pleasure to work with, and to get project completed on time and within budget. We whole-heartedly recommend!
As Keith's previous manager I know Keith as an exceptional associate who is great to work with and was an important element in the success of the eBusiness team. He was a leader on the team who understood the groups vision and objectives and could execute the strrategy to achieve the groups goals. Keith’s high standards and work ethic directly impacted the quality of the Gates.com site resulting in the site being recognized by BtoB Magazine as one of the ten best in 2006. Keith is always willing to share his experience and ideas for the benefit of the group. A big picture guy who can who can also manage and execute the details. Consistently delivers outstading results.
I worked with Keith on many online lead generation projects when I was with 90octane, the interactive agency for Gates Rubber Co. Though Keith was not my direct marketing client, he was continually brought in to consult with the agency. Keith has a knack of keeping himself educated and always he "got it" when the agency would speak to online marketing strategies. Keith has a great ability to understand the sales needs of the organization and implement proper strategies to meet these. Not to mention, he was always a pleasure to work with!
Keith always looks for quality work. He can raise those issues which you cannot predict normally. He always gets inside any work and suggest changes which you cannot predict normally. We woked together on same project for 1 and 1/2 years. If he finds anything good, he never fail to appreciate it. Working with Keith helped to increase the quality of work and taught to think beyond normal. It was a pleasant experience working with him. I wish we can again work together.
Keith came highly recommended to Make-it-fly by another Make-it-flyer; after working with him for five months I have become a raving fan of him personally and the knowledge he has on conversion and what it takes to make a website profitable. Keith is an absolute giver and his board members profited from his business wisdom as well as his technical understand of website marketing. I will talk to anyone about this man's gifts, values, and huge heart to make a difference with people. Dave Co-Founder of Make-it-fly
As the e-Commerce Director for Oerlikon/Melco, Keith was always very accommodating and a staunch advocate for developing quality assurance processes within his own department. Keith's extensive e-Commerce background, professionalism, and forward thinking business strategies enabled him to be a true leader as the one of Oerlikon/Melco's Senior Directors. Keith developed and implemented the company e-Commerce business division opening up an entirely new avenue for revenue generation within an extremely tight niche market. Keith is highly dedicated to company objectives and to the people he manages.
Keith is probably, in my opinion, one of the most brilliant Internet Strategist we have worked in the last several years. He brings an incredible history of Internet problem solving along with the knowledge to scale-up online enterprises.
