Since I started doing iOS in late 2009, I've helped clients debug issues in their apps, trained other developers one-on-one and in classes, and spoken at local user groups. I've contributed to open source projects and have written about iOS development on our blog.

Only do things that move you closer to shipping. I'd also look at ruthlessly cutting scope so you can get your product out the door. Most importantly, focus on making consistent progress every day or week so you can actually ship your product and start getting revenue from it.
Josh worked for me on several different assignments at OCLC as a software consultant. Josh worked very well with both the product staff and other software developers, communicating his ideas and solutions in terminology that everyone could understand. He also is a technical sponge. He allocates several hours of his own time every day to learn new technologies, allowing him to quickly understand new skills when needed. Josh will be an outstanding addition on any software development project.
