Jake Peterson’s work at the Intercultural Center continues to live way after he graduated St. John's University. He began the "I - Am" campaign in which both students and faculty of the college created a statement with “I - Am” as the first two words. The statements influenced individuals to seek a personal identity and not be afraid to express it. The outcome was a colorful collage of photographs with students and their statements held in front them. This campaign’s goal was to create a more inclusive community in which diversity was both accepted and acknowledged. Jake’s creativity, marketing and leadership skills allowed this program to succeed and co-workers like me learn from his innovative tactics. It was a pleasure to work with Jake and watch as he tackled each work project with dignity and efficiency.

As a team partner, he helps to facilitate a deeper understanding of client needs, issues and challenges. He is quick to learn new systems and information, a problem solver and a solutions finder. He is invaluable in the areas of process improvement, data, analysis and charting/graphing. Jake is one of the most positive, patient and professional team mates I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

Jake is a driven, thoughtful co-worker who always makes time to help with questions no matter if they are big or small. He has stepped into a BA and IT PM role for several of the projects I'm assigned to and has been instrumental in keeping them on track. His data analysis and report creation skills are coveted around the office. He picks up new technologies and business processes faster than anyone else at the company and has helped me in several cases build smarter, cheaper solutions for my clients. Not only are his work skills admirable, he also posses professional, congenial personal skills. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and has definitely been a bright spot during my time at E Group.

I have worked with Jake since he started at E-Group as a Business Analyst. I am recommending Jake because he is a dedicated worker who shows great knowledge when it comes to things like requirements gathering, communicating with business units and utilizing cutting edge methodologies like social media.
