Jacob has a passion towards improving products, particularly software products, through the use of Agile and Lean practices. As a partner of ours he has received the highest marks for his coaching from some of our largest customers. As a friend I've seen how Jacob's persistence is paying off in building an Agile business in China. In only a year Jake has become a clear leader in the Shanghai Agile Community. I could say Jacob is a Great Agile Coach and Trainer (which he is) but for me, more important is the fact that Jacob is just a great guy to be around with. Jacob is definitely an agile master. He has in-depth understanding and hands-on experience of the agile principles. He built an agile community in China which influenced many software development teams in various companies. I am even impressed by Jacob's passion to extend agile practices to non-software areas. As evangelist of agile, Jacob helped engineer teams in China to be empowered and and thus innovate in a traditionally "command and control" management culture. Jacob has been a great Scrum coach and Scrum figurehead in the Shanghai tech community. Over last several months working with SmartCV Jake has proven that SCRUM has an enormous value as a way to develop software and build company.
