Hessel was in deze periode SDD-er 1e lijn, wat betekent dat hij rechtstreeks contact had met de klanten die belden i.v.m. problemen met kabeltelevisie, telefonie, internet of digitale televisie.
Voor het oplossen van de problemen doorloop je een script, voer je wat aanvullende controles uit en als het dan nog niet lukt, neem je contact op met de 2e lijn, waar ik onderdeel van uitmaakte. Hessel was (en is) iemand die eerst zelf de zaken goed uitzocht, bij andere mensen twijfelde je nog wel eens of ze zaken echt goed gecontroleerd hadden, maar als je een melding doorkreeg van Hessel wist je dat er echt wat aan de hand was.
Volgens mij is er zelfs even een korte periode geweest waarbij het aantal SDD-ers te hoog was, Hessel heeft in die periode de 'building-manager' geholpen met klusjes aan het pand. En zoals ik ook aan de lijst met Experience kan zien, is Hessel nog steeds het type wat 'niet lult, maar doorpakt'.
