I operate on a contract basis an interim CTO/CIO, technology transformation consultant, and technical project delivery manager. I have over 20 years' experience in the software industry, with considerable board-level exposure, having worked at CTO and CIO-level in several roles - mostly in mid-caps and SMEs, plus several years in large corporates.
On the strategic level I’ve carried out many assignments as a CTO including review of technology teams, organisation analysis, creation of technical strategy, cost reduction, due diligence, process review, platform re-design, programme review and supplier review.
On the delivery level, I’ve implemented my strategic recommendations, covering team hiring / building, full life-cycle development, project rescue and management, outsourcing, systems integration, supplier selection / on-boarding and process implementation. I’ve created value across a variety of sectors including media, utilities, quality assurance, automotive, and e-commerce.
