Gil was a one-man show running Marketing at Karmasphere, from website to PR to marketing communications to running events, he did it all! Nothing is too tough or too little for Gil, he takes on the biggest challenges with a smile and is always willing to help. He was a great colleague giving advice and injecting a lot of positive energy and passion at work. Gil is very creative, is a marketing machine and gets things done!
Source: LinkedIn Manish Jiandani Dec 26, 2014In working with Gil at two different companies I can safely say that Gil not only has the knowledge and skill set of a great product marketer but also the charm. He intricately knows where his products stand in the marketplace and is able to fully leverage all marketing tools available to him to elevate awareness of his company's product and fill sales pipelines. This is all backed up by his passion and excitement.
If you are launching an analytical or big data product and want to it to be a success look to Gil.
Gil was an all around amazing asset to our organization. He is a quick learner and is great with tech. Gil was able to step up whenever needed. His high product knowledge allowed Gil to be a very beneficial player in customer facing situations.
Source: LinkedIn Peter Knast Dec 26, 2014Gil & I worked very closely together for all of 2011. I found him to be very technical, collegial, and highly adaptable to our rapidly changing business conditions. Always resourceful, Gil consistently came up with innovative solutions to thorny issues. I very much enjoyed working with Gil; he was plainspoken and a great clutch player, who was always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. I am confident that Gil will do well - especially in an entrepreneurial environment - where he can apply his SE-quality technical skills with his creative instincts. I wish Gil continued success!
Source: LinkedIn Lou Jordano Dec 26, 2014Gil exhibits a positive, can-do attitude that is an asset in product marketing. I have worked with Gil on many projects, involving research, production, and dissemination of marketing collateral and other assets. He is not only extremely responsive, but is creative in how he approaches challenges, offering options and not merely a diagnosis.
On a personal level, I consider Gil a good friend.
Source: LinkedIn Venkat Mullur Dec 26, 2014It has a been a pleasure working with Gil for the last few years; He is as efficient and dynamic as anyone can get.
Even though he is in a marketing role, he cares about customer satisfaction and will go out of his way to make it happen.
Gil Allouche is extremely reliable; as an account manager he has always been a wonderful source, a leader and a very creative thinker.
Gil is always responsive in supporting sales cycles by doing demos (even last minute requests) and with competitive analysis. He is the go to product person and I enjoy working with him.
I had the pleasure to have Gil as an intern at SAP working on Market and Customer Analysis for one of SAP's innovative product lines. Gil has demonstrated quick learning skills diving deep into an area that was new to him. He was very effective in using the resources provided to him as well as bringing resources of his own that were a clear value add. Gil was constantly on the move: leading the project with high energy and persistence, working across multiple teams, overcoming obstacles and coming up with creative ways to solve problems. I especially liked the way Gil has successfully maneuvered between topics that require high level strategic analysis and the ones that require detailed view, a skill that I consider as critical.
Gil's dedication to achieving tangible results was very obvious and he managed to create a true impact that was later used when articulating the product strategy.
I wish Gil all the very best and am sure he will be successful in his future endeavors.
Gil is a highly committed person I would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable business partner. Rigorous in his work, Gil has also a strong entrepreneurial approach to work and robust interpersonal and communication skills.
Source: LinkedIn Camille Biette Dec 26, 2014As an MBA student at Babson, Gil was the director of International MBA students for the Graduate Student Council. I had the pleasure of working with Gil in creating and implementing initiatives to support international students regarding their job-related activities as well as campus-wide international student initiatives. Gil was a passionate and motivating leader in his class. I enjoyed working with him.
Source: LinkedIn Linnea Löf Dec 26, 2014I had the pleasure of working with Gil a year-long consulting project. As a part of a six person team, we worked together planning, devising strategy and presenting a market analysis for our client's senior executives. Gil is a talented mediator and group facilitator - working to make sure that all parties understood their duties and that the project was moving forward. Gil served as the client contact for our consulting team and did a wonderful job managing those relations, keeping the client informed at all times and scheduling on-site meetings. I admire Gil for his leadership, creative thinking and ability to work well on a team.
