Georgios Kourogiorgas has studied Marketing (BSc), Operational Research (MSc) and did his PhD
research at the intersection of these two disciplines. His love for data analysis started during his BSc
studies during which he interned as a marketing data analyst for a publishing organization. After his
studies he worked for a marketing modelling agency advancing his knowledge on data analysis. He
worked on econometric modelling and marketing mix modelling. His next step was to become a data
scientist which he achieved by attending appropriate courses and working on classification and
regression problems with techniques that stem from Machine Learning and Statistics in the fashion
and retail industry. He is currently a data scientist for a marketing technology start up.
