I have been working with Yahoo! and Microsoft on their Hadoop and Cloud initiatives. Mainly on the Advertising world on both Search (Bing) and Display Ads (Right Media).
Gagneet was on my Bangalore team during my tenure at Yahoo!. Gagneet was the India QA lead for the data pipelines that collected and aggregated events related to graphical ads at Yahoo!. These systems are extremely difficult to understand and setup, and it is a testament to Gagneet's technical abilities that he was able to take care of these. Gagneet works like the Energizer Bunny. It was not uncommon to see him online working with his partners in California in the middle of our afternoon: 2AM India time! Gagneet also took a lot of interest in raising the game of his whole team and took the initiative to drive many extra curricular projects for the team in the India office.
