Getting Out of the Spare Bedroom

I've helped many clients help analyze their business and what it will take to get them out of their home office and into a dedicated work space. So many factors play into what it takes to even rent a space...room layout, parking, fire exits, emergency lighting. Will you need a variance? What will all this cost? Believe it or not, us architects are pretty good at interior design. So whether is a furniture layout or a counter height that meets ADA requirements, I can help.

ADA / NC Accessiblity Guidelines

A huge amount of my firm's work stems from ADA updates triggered by local and Federal guidelines, lawsuits or complaints. Design should be something everyone can enjoy and we have a great understanding of the complicated code that dictates bathroom sizes, door handle shapes, counter heights, etc. An early mistake in a concrete sidewalk slope is expensive to rip out and fix.
