Michael's winning personality made the collaborative experience very enjoyable and successful. His knowledge and confidence made the potentials of the project goals not only obtainable but engaging; which fostered the team's creative input and exploration. His presence made it a fun project. I valued that so I didn't hesitate to participate in the creative.
I recommend and appreciate his insight and strategies and look forward to collaborating again with him.
Quite simply, Mike's the man! He added an energy and morale to the staff at Miami Ad School NY that was previously missing. I wasn't even in any of his classes, but that's just a testament to how active he was with the overall program. He brought organization to our school events and made us feel more like one big family than just a group of ad students. Mike's enthusiasm is unmatched and he's super easy to get along with. That's what happens when you're a genuinely nice person, which I've found is both valuable and rare in this industry. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Mike, whether it be at a company or just on a fun side project. I think whoever reads this will find it the same way.
Working with Michael has been truly a great pleasure. It's not every day that someone so genuinely in love with the creative process comes along, especially when that someone wants to create, collaborate, innovate, help and support in such a giving way as Michael has been for me and STOKED. We are a youth development / education organization, and whether it was lending his brain power, his connections, his time, energy or otherwise, Michael has been an incredibly friend and ally to our organization. He has a contagious energy and passion about him that brings out the best in everyone around him, and I know he will bring this same person and skill set to whatever he sets his sights on in his future.
Michael Chatfield understands clients needs and is especially adept at communicating those needs to creatives. He truly sees the big picture and is huge on actually Getting Stuff Done. I look forward to the next opportunity I have to work with Michael.
From first contact with Michael, it has been a pleasure to work with him. His enthusiasm and initiative radiates to those around him and brings the level of the room up. If Michael isn't currently a part of your network, he should be.
Michael Chatfield is a person who will go above and beyond to do what he can to help you. He is able to identify my weakness and help me improve upon it. By constantly challenging me and pushing me outside my comfort zone, he helped me grow not just professionally, but personally as well. I couldn't ask for a better mentor than him during my time at Miami Ad School.
When he enters a room, his optimism and positivity oozes out and permeate the entire room. When working with him, you can sense his energy and it is infectious! So be careful.
I had the pleasure of working with, and learning from, Michael this summer and can say that he is a natural born planner, and a supremely talented one to boot. Mike’s ability to translate complex cultural and business issues into simple, clear, compelling language almost instantaneously never ceased to amaze me.
He has the knack and the passion for deriving meaningful insights that illuminate opportunities for change and packaging them in the most delectable fashion. His focus on change and transformation is ceaseless- he even takes different routes to work on a daily basis!
Mike’s competence as a planner is, in my opinion, without doubt. But that’s not the exciting part. What really sets Mike apart is his spirit and his approach. Mike is one of the most creative people I know, and he makes digging up the dirt a genuine pleasure; working with Mike feels more like play, but it always yields results. He’s great on a team, could inspire a cardboard box, and helped teach me to look in unexpected places.
In my 2 years at Miami Ad School and few months in the real world, I have yet to meet anyone with remotely as much energy as Michael has. It's actually quite unnerving. Personally, I would have to drink about three Red Bulls to match his drive. From leading an intensive account planning bootcamp to providing advice and feedback to creatives, Michael has the capacity to do it all and somehow remain cool, calm, and collected. Perhaps it's his enthusiasm for the advertising industry that makes him so great at what his does, or perhaps it's a combination of both, character and determination. His optimism is contagious and shines through every project he works on. Michael is as great of a leader as he is a team player. Any agency would be lucky to have him.
I know Mike through Miami Ad School. Mike is excellent at holding things down as director there. I really can’t imagine the amount of work, coordination, and dedication that must entail. I’m positive it’s not an easy job and he pilots that ship f’ing gracefully. But he’s much more than a director. He’s a pusher; a pusher in the very best sense. He pushed me and all of the students there to make their very best work. And really, is there a better recommendation than to say a person inspired others to work harder? I don’t imagine so. I’m speaking from experience. It was in large part to Mike that I was able to find my creative voice. He helped me isolate what was good and he pushed me to be better. He’s passionate about creativity and he’s passionate about what he does, whatever it is he happens to be doing at the time. I’m confident to recommend Mike in any position that demands hard work, coordination, determination, and passion. He brings it and he brings it to others.
I was given the opportunity to have Michael as my Strategic Thinking course instructor for Art Directors and Copywriters. Michael consistently encouraged lateral thinking and pushed us to perform beyond what we thought we were capable of. He served as a model academic; he taught with enthusiasm, always kept class engaged in discussion, never let any question go unanswered, kept an organized agenda, and invested extra time critiquing our work for improvement. Michael has substantiated his personal brand as a passionate instructor and has inspired me to keep challenging myself.
I met Michael during his tenure as Director of Miami Ad School PRO. He appeared to be very busy at first, only saying hello and moving on. I had the chance to finally talk and brainstorm with him during a workshop and it revealed a very highly organized individual with the ability to see patterns that others can't and be able to put it into terms and goals for the team and the project. It's no wonder when he told me he was getting back into the game I told him "finally". He's a great asset to any team, and I hop to work with him again in the future.
