• Bring a strategic lens to IT planning with a solid understanding of technology platforms & systems and market trends • Knowledgeable about the current technology landscape and able to quickly assist with and drive technology selection and build vs buy vs integrate decision making process. • Assess opportunities to consolidate organization technology platforms to create more efficient, consolidated delivery systems across the organization • Oversee the configuration and performance standards for technology infrastructure; track, analyze, and monitor technology performance metrics, implementing and monitoring controls to ensure maintenance • Demonstrated experience managing program and organization-wide technology (hardware, software, staffing, consulting, procurement, contractor, maintenance, etc.) and large budgets • High degree of business acumen and technical competency; ability to balance and bridge technology and business needs • Experience in systems integration and integrated solutions as well as leading organizational, digital transformation, and innovation projects. • Sound engineering and management judgment, energetic leadership, and engineering creativity in a fast-paced environment • Experience working in collaboration with and managing multiple vendors as part of solutions • Oversee the procurement of contracts, software, and hardware needed for operations • Ability and interest in working in a high energy, startup environment where engineering breadth and depth are valued and needed • Demonstrated creativity and “out of the box” thinking, coupled with a pragmatic approach to delivering manufacturable products • Proven record leading teams to deliver novel, technologically advanced products • Work with the leadership team to define functional requirements for new products and translate these into technical specifications for front-end, back-end, web, mobile applications and additional services • Plan and manage the product development process, with a focus on standards & metrics • Help prioritize the development of the overall product portfolio, including bringing new innovations to market • Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities, including vendors and partner organizations • Highly effective project management skills; PMP certification • Proficiency and experience working with a multitude of software development methodologies • Executive presence, strong communication and presentation skills • Highly developed interpersonal style that operates well in a complex, diverse, and highly collaborative organization • Mentor and grow team members’ progress and maintain an environment focused on innovation, exceeding end user/customer expectations, and strategic development through collaboration • Drive acceptance and adoption of technology agendas with empathy and active listening skills
