As an electrical engineer student in my senior year, I have had all the odds stacked against me. Immigrant parents who divorced and could not provide a stable environment. No mental or financial support from family or friends. I had no guidance or help as a young woman that would help me build beyond my beauty. I fell into the trap of seeking out validation and stability from men instead of finding it within myself. I chose not to be a victim but the overcomer and achiever in my story. And, if I can inspire one person to push through the hardships of their circumstance, that to me is what makes all the difference.
