I have extensive experience developing user-facing applications and gamification and have published nine of self-funded apps (and counting), half of which have been featured by Apple. I am highly proficient in both development and design. My experience running a startup in the mobile space has also given me a deep understanding of the challenge of running a startup and bringing apps to the market. Why are so many people under the impression that adobe Air can't be used to develop iOS apps for the App Store?

Because at one point Apple started banning all use of virtual machines and external runtime, including Air and it has gotten a lot of publicity. Since then they have reverted their policy but a lot of people who didn't plan to use Air in the first place continued to hold on to the old info. One of our my apps uses Air so I have been following this very closely.

Are company's like Disney wrong to use flash?

Daniel is right in that Flash content won't work directly on your iPad's Safari, but Flash contents can actually be turned into iPhone and iPad apps (and even Android) very easily and it's a fine tool for building cross platform 2D game contents. Apple has long lifted the ban on cross platform tools and external runtime. We have published two apps using Flash and they work great.

Boon is good analyzer. His thinking is more advanced in product development, requirement keeps changing, he knows that well so his design output for a product is pretty flexible and reusable to fit upcoming new requirements. Boon, and I both started at Arc at the same time, and he was very renowned in Flash, and I knew very little of it. I had to work directly with him on 2 projects. Boon was hired on as a contractor for a 3-month project, and before we knew it he had already been there for 6 months. Why? Because we simply didn't want to let him leave. He instantly dived into the projects he was given (and even helped with some he wasn't) and performed well beyond our expectations, had a great natural chemistry with the team, and really helped drive a lot of technical decisions made during production. He is passionate and dedicated to whatever he is doing, and you know that you can trust him to over-deliver on whatever it is he is working on. Anyone who bring hims onto a project is truly making a great decision, though he might not be available for some time as (like I said before) we may not allow him to leave. :)
