I'm a long-time (since 1989) entrepreneur and small business owner. I've started, grown, bought and sold several successful companies. Currently, I own a management consulting/coaching business and also a small manufacturing company.

My specialties and where I can best help others:

- Understanding and using the numbers - your financials - to run and improve your business. I do this using a common-sense, layperson, non-accountant approach (with all due respect to accountants!)
- Incentive and bonus plan design. I specifically work with team-based incentive/bonus plans, as opposed to individual pay issues.
- Accountability among your team members. Who couldn't use more of that?
- Ideas. Got an issue that's nagging at you? Too many opportunities? Too few? We'll talk thru what's going on in your business and within a short time I'd expect we'll have one or more good potential solutions for you to consider.

Financial Literacy - Understand & Use Your Numbers

I've always had a keen interest in the numbers of business, and discovered years ago that I also had a knack for explaining business financial concepts in a down-to-earth, easy-to-understand way.

I teach business/financial literacy in a classroom-style format but can also work with folks one-on-one via the phone (real-time video would work even better) to help them understand their numbers and work with the numbers to improve their business results.

I've found that most business owners and management teams know what they need to do. The problem isn't in knowing ... it's in doing. Or more accurately, NOT doing.

Bill's entire approach to helping my company implement the Great Game of Business was consistent from the time we first met through the present day: affable and non-pressuring, accommodating without coddling, and at all times encouraging us to reach farther without taking inordinate risks.
