I've spent the last almost two decades as a public servant in one form or another, working directly for local government or for consulting firms. A large part of being in urban planning and public administration as I have, is presenting and discussing complex projects to decision-making bodies like City Councils and Planning Commissions. I spent six years on the board of my industry's professional organization, most of which I was also the Web Director.
