Urban planning and project managing since 2007. Expert in Microsoft Planner, Notion, and Canva. Helping you set up systems and manage your business, teams, and projects for success.
I've spent the last almost two decades as a public servant in one form or another, working directly for local government or for consulting firms. A large part of being in urban planning and public administration as I have, is presenting and discussing complex projects to decision-making bodies like City Councils and Planning Commissions.
I can truly say I've been through it all as far as public meetings, including late-night 3 AM Council meetings talking about land use and housing policy, state legislation, and city development.
If you're new to public speaking or are still struggling with a fear of public speaking, I can help you. I used to be terrified before speaking, to the point of feeling like I was going to black out and forget everything. I want to say it got better with age, but it's really more of a case that it got better with repeated exposure. Once you start, it gets easier and easier. And I'm not just saying that to make you feel better.
I will help you polish your presentation to tell the story you intend to, design it to capture attention, cut out the fluff and unnecessary detail, talk with confidence, do a final quality control, and be prepared to engage with the audience and answer questions.
I spent six years on the board of my industry's professional organization, most of which I was also the Web Director. Coming in as a volunteer board member with no prior knowledge of web design, I spent hours upon hours figuring out WordPress.
It unleashed a passion for web design and how to create a visually appealing and approachable page that is quick and snappy. WordPress isn't for the faint of heart, and if you are the kind of person that's not into tech, and usually hires someone to set up your cable but you need a website for your business, or project, or what have you - I can help.
I have set up three websites, and manage them with updates, periodic fixes, and backups... oh wait, you don't have to think about any of that now that I'm here. I'll work with you to create a site that matches your story, branding, vibe, and needs. Let me worry about the back end so you can do what you do best.

Learn how to use Notion and get more done. No other app that I've used has the dexterity of Notion to be a scheduler, team manager, work flow dashboard, web developer, email marketer, and it'll even remind you to get your groceries.
Notion can be confusing at first, but once you understand the basics, it's a game changer for getting organized, building structure into your information management, taking notes on the go, and integrating with tons of other apps.
If you're trying to use Notion and aren't sure how best to get the most out of it, then give me a ring. I'll be happy to give you direction and walk you through whatever process you're grappling with.
If you've tried everything, but are still struggling with keeping your projects organized, or are feeling overwhelmed with how everything is going to get done. If you have a handful of different places you keep information and can never seem to find what you're looking for. Then I can help get you organized and put systems in place to give you peace of mind and confidence that your project will stay on track.
I've spent the past several years managing multi-million dollar projects with multiple stakeholders and participants and helping others learn how to do the same.
I can help you to: -seamlessly manage and coordinate with your remote team -set up an all-in-one second brain for your work and life and ditch the rest of your apps -stop stressing about where your notes are because they're all in one place -help your team be more productive by setting up a communication framework to track project progress for accountability
I am an expert in Notion; Microsoft Excel, Planner, Teams, SharePoint, and others.
My goal is to educate people on how to use the right productivity tools to streamline their processes and build in more time to focus on what matters.
If you rely on templates but they still look unpolished. If you can't be bothered with checking for typos or wonky formatting glitches. If you just want to get on with it and want someone to make you look good. I can help you.
I literally cannot move on from making sure whatever deliverable I'm working on is formatted correctly, looks fresh and profesh, and is ready to ship. I dropped off my son on his first day of daycare and they handed me a scanned daily sheet to fill out that looked like it was from 1985. I ran home and created a new simple clean and user-friendly version the same day. And I had fun doing it.
Listen, the reader/user experience is everything. Whether you're presenting, posting to socials, creating a client deliverable, or working on your marketing materials - give me a call. I'll be happy to give you some quick tips or take it off your plate so you can focus on doing what you love in your business.
