I've spent the last almost two decades as a public servant in one form or another, working directly for local government or for consulting firms. A large part of being in urban planning and public administration as I have, is presenting and discussing complex projects to decision-making bodies like City Councils and Planning Commissions.

I can truly say I've been through it all as far as public meetings, including late-night 3 AM Council meetings talking about land use and housing policy, state legislation, and city development.

If you're new to public speaking or are still struggling with a fear of public speaking, I can help you. I used to be terrified before speaking, to the point of feeling like I was going to black out and forget everything. I want to say it got better with age, but it's really more of a case that it got better with repeated exposure. Once you start, it gets easier and easier. And I'm not just saying that to make you feel better.

I will help you polish your presentation to tell the story you intend to, design it to capture attention, cut out the fluff and unnecessary detail, talk with confidence, do a final quality control, and be prepared to engage with the audience and answer questions.
