I live and breathe online communities.
I started my first successful online community 15 years ago when I was 16. I sold that community and a second one for seven figures, never taking on any funding.
I've advised startups, paid and unpaid, solicited and unsolicited.
I am technically minded, having started in web design/development, but also very approachable, personable and obsessive about design and UX details.
I've been making websites since I was 10 and actively involved in large community websites and commercial web development since 1998. The projects I've worked on are diverse and have included:
- high-traffic community websites (duh!)
- small and large business websites
- e-commerce websites
- non-profit websites
- custom advertising systems
- sales report software
- and much more...
I lived in Guatemala for most of last year and helped out an employee wellness program business. Now, I am back in SF and working on a few more communities, ranging from motorcycles to mental health.
I look forward to talking with you about your online community, whatever stage it is at.
