How to Get Early Traction
Created 11 years ago in Sales & Marketing / Growth Strategy

Getting those first 10,100,1000 & 10,000 users is always the hardest. My job is to help startups get a few users 'in love' with their product rather than 'a few thousand merely interested'. From knowing how to lead generate through the various methods below, I'm able profile your ideal user, find them, get them using/buying your product & extracting feedback;
- PR - I've completed press releases with Mashable, The Next Web, Techcrunch & VentureBeat.
_ Social/Content Marketing - Creating 'hype/excitement' around your product. Knowing how to utilise platforms like Beta List & Product Hunt become very useful.
- Creating demand - manufacturing demand through private beta 'request for invite' techniques.
- Creating effective mailing lists & landing pages.
- Creating Viral Co-Efficiency from neat feature development so users invites 2, 3, 4 of their friends/colleagues.
- Finally - DIRECT SALES. Other wise known as Hustling.
