Aleksey is an experienced entrepreneur and product development executive in the enterprise and cloud space in both large companies and startups, having launched multiple software products and services and led engineering teams both local and offshore. An 7.5 year veteran of Microsoft, Aleksey has held roles in the various departments of Consulting, Developer Evangelism, Engineering and Operations. Most of his roles were technical and product management roles giving him inside-out perspective on how products and services get envisioned. Developed and marketed. One of his last positions was at Yahoo! Inc’s Cloud Platform Group where he was in charge of product management and evangelism activities for compute portion of Yahoo’s private cloud now serving multiple worldwide-leading web services, such as Yahoo Finance and Yahoo News. Prior to this, he managed joint projects between Microsoft and global ISVs developing applications on Windows Azure, Microsoft’s public cloud platform. Most recently, Aleksey has co-founded two startups in B2B space and launched one of them.
