I would highly recommend him and his work - he has a fantastic understanding of the ad tech landscape, and is always eager to learn more. I had the great fortune of working with Greg Cristal in my first year as a Technical Account Manager with Microsoft Advertising. When I joined the team Greg was already a senior TAM team member, with a wealth of skills and experiences under his belt.
As well as demonstrating phenomenal product and industry knowledge, Greg’s relationship management skills are second to none and he was an invaluable internal resource for the Microsoft TAM team, while consistently providing the highest level of consultancy and support for his clients.
Greg leads by example and the best practices that he encourages stem from his own vast experience. As a senior team member Greg’s openness and ability to actively listen and provide constructive feedback are some of the great mentoring and leadership skills that he has honed during his time at Microsoft. His sincerity and genuine desire to motivate and develop a team are excellent qualities that will make him an invaluable asset to any company lucky enough to call him their own.
Greg is a pleasure to work with. In my time here at Microsoft he has supported me and taken on mentor like responsibilities to teach me about ad-serving technologies. He is a knowledgeable individual who has immense experience and intelligence on various products in particular Rich Media.

I shan't talk at length about Greg's talents in account management as I expect others will do that, and it goes without saying that after years at Microsoft his skills are very developed.
For me Greg's worth is in what he does outside of the role as well as in it, and for that reason I am sad to see him go.
I had the pleasure to work closely with Gregory at Microsoft Advertising in the UK between the beginning of 2009 and the end of 2010. During this time, I had the opportunity to discover and appreciate many of Gregory's talents and skills. To mention some of these: his sense of self-confidence, expressed by excellent public speaking and presentation skills; his devotion and professionality towards client management and client services, supported by a proven experience in the field at the service of key digital accounts; his continuous willingness and commitment for improving processes and optimizing results, which translated, on many occasions, into his active involvement in crucial projects for the business (such as the development of the CRM workflow and dynamics in use today by the Atlas Technical Account Management Team at international level).
A no non-sense individual, Gregory is not afraid of speaking up and arguing his point to fight incongruencies.
Also, Gregory stands out for his determination to succeed and his innate sense of leadership, which, I am confident, will help him go far in life both as a professional and as an individual.
Through working with Greg I have received brilliant support and training on not only Rich media but all support in general – He is the go to guy for any technical questions and his client service ability is second to none, Greg is extremely well organized, works effectively and efficiently. He is always ensuring the smooth running of his accounts and is proactive with any challenges that may arise. Greg takes on new projects and puts enthusiasm and motivation into them, he will drive discussions forward and his passion for the industry is inspiring. His Passion has really driven the success of not only his clients but his team.
Greg is one of the most endearing team-mates that I have had the pleasure of working with. He was one of my most valued colleagues through my time at Microsoft and his passion for technology is only equalled by his commitment of ensuring his teammates are well supported. Greg goes to great lengths to ensure his colleagues and clients benefit from knowledge, skills and experience that he has and is always on hand to offer support – proficiencies that he also carries over to his clients. Greg has a brilliant skill of being able to keep team morale high and often challenges current processes with intuitive and forward-thinking ideas.
Whilst I was at UM/Reprise Greg was our TAM at Atlas. Even though Atlas were releasing new features at an incredible rate Greg ensured every member of the Reprise team were kept up to date and were maximising the new Atlas features. In addition to keeping us up to date with new releases, I also worked really closely with Greg in building a holistic training plan for the Reprise team (we had grown at an incredible rate in 2010 and had a lot of new starters at different levels). Greg's experience, product knowledge and passion ensured the training plan was extensive, actionable and useful. Once the training had been completed my team were confident Atlas experts, thanks Greg!
